THE GREATEST IN FREE CHRISTMAS DECORATION IDEAS FOR EVERYONE
from:Christmas is a time of year full of traditions and fun. Many families have passed down traditions for many years. Some just start traditions for their family as a new, fun activity. Starting these new traditions is quite easy. One such idea is traditionally making specific Christmas decorations each year. Free Christmas decoration ideas can be found easily in stores and online, you just need to be willing to browse.
Many fun decorations can be made with simple items found around the house. These decoration ideas can be made with kids for an added touch of fun. Some free Christmas decoration ideas include paper chains, popcorn garland, and, the ever popular, felt and glitter ornaments.
Paper chains are common and one of the most loved free Christmas decoration ideas. The first step is simply cutting strips of paper from newspapers or packages of construction paper. Next, use a glue stick to glue both ends together (overlapping). After the first ring, slide the next strip of paper through the first ring before gluing. This makes a chain of festive colored paper to hang on your tree or mantle year after year.
Popcorn garland is another one of the fun free Christmas decoration ideas that take little time, money, or effort. Initially, pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave. Next, thread a needle with a long piece of thread (as long as you would like the garland to be). Finally, thread the needle through the middle of the popped kernels, one after another, until the popcorn reaches the needle. Knot the end of the thread and display your garland on your Christmas tree.
The ever-popular felt and glitter Christmas tree ornaments are a great family tradition. With a few inexpensive craft items, your family can create a great new ornament for each family member. Gather a few pieces of felt, a hot glue gun, glitter and any item you may wish to display on the ornament (such as pictures or buttons). Cut the felt in the desired shape. Attach the display object to the felt. Use glitter to decorate the felt. Once the glitter is dry, attach a string in order to display your ornament on the Christmas tree.
Christmas is a time for fun with family and friends. Using free Christmas decoration ideas to bring spirit and holiday cheer to your home or workplace makes economical sense and keep the creative juices flowing. Take the time to make your own decorations for heirlooms and a sense of accomplishment. The time spent with your family will not be soon forgotten.
