THE TRADITION AND LOVE OF A CHRISTMAS DECORATION

A Christmas decoration is often a tradition among families.  Each year, a special time is set aside at the beginning of the holiday season to decorate the home.  Christmas decoration comes in a wide variety of forms.  From the traditional pine tree, to angels, and everything in between, there is no limit to the expanse of Christmas decoration.

It is common for both the interior and exterior of a home to be decorated.  The interior often includes a pine tree loaded with ornaments, lights, and a large array of packages underneath.  Additionally, lights, garland, and candles are often displayed throughout the home to create a festive atmosphere.

The exterior of the home also offers a number of opportunities to display a Christmas decoration.  Light displays are most common.  The house often has a number of lights strung along the roofline.  Additionally, nativity scenes or animated light displays are often found in yards.

The Christmas tree is one of the most recognized Christmas decorations around the world.  There are a number of different species of pine trees used for this decoration.  The items used as ornaments on the trees are many.  From bows and lights, small candles and garland, plastic and porcelain figures and angels, the trees become beautiful works of art, unique to each home.  Under the tree, is the large array of gifts, waiting for Christmas morning?

The trees maybe a cut down, live pine tree or an imitation made of metal, plastic and other synthetic materials.  Often, the kind of tree displayed in a personal choice.  Many like the live trees due to the smell.  Others dislike the live tree due to the mess they make.  Additionally, a live tree can become a fire hazard when allowed to dry out.

Beyond the home, businesses take great pride in their Christmas decoration.  Wreaths, lights, and trees are often found throughout malls and store locations.  These businesses often spend a great sum of money in an effort to be festive for their holiday shoppers.  These displays are often very elaborate.

Christmas decoration can be store bought products, homemade treasures, or passed down heirlooms.  Store bought products can be found at large retailers and specialty shops.  Homemade treasures can be made from scratch or kits found in craft stores.  Passed down heirlooms often have a long family history behind them.

Christmas decoration can be tastefully simple or extravagant.  Individual’s tastes can play a large role in the extent to which they decorate for the holidays.  A large number of options exist with new items coming on the market each and every year.  The possibilities are endless.
