Both working independently and together are great for kids. By helping one another they can learn the importance of teamwork and by working independently they can gain a full sense of accomplishment. Lastly, be sure to take the time during the busy holiday season to not only appreciate the work of art that your children have created, but to make a ceremony about the placement of the craft on the tree, mantle, etc. Hopefully both the craft making as well as the ceremonies will become a cherished part of each holiday season.
